For every new form (or duplicated form) that you create, you should be checking and configuring the email notification settings.

Here's how...

The PDF invoice template is basic, but you can add additional information such as bank details, business details and Tax Invoice headings.

Here's how...

Once a form is created, it must then be put somewhere that people can access it. There are two methods:

  1. Create a page and add the form to the page
  2. Use the custom URL feature to automatically generate a virtual page

The second method is easier, tidier, and includes optional automatic listing in the directory on the homepage. This is the recommended method for almost all cases.

It can be a good idea to delete private information collected via forms once the event is passed and the data no longer needed. Instead of deleting the whole form, just delete the entries. This way the private information is removed, but the form remains ready to be reused next time, or use as a template to duplicate from to avoid having to create similar forms from scratch.

Sometimes a user does not select any chargeable items on a form, or applies a discount coupon that brings their payable total to $0.00. When this happens, the form still requires card numbers to be entered to be able to submit the form, even though there is no charge.

There are two ways around this:

  1. Disable embedded checkout (Please avoid this one where possible)
  2. Add a special field and apply conditional logic (preferred)

The second method keeps the embedded checkout for a smoother user experience and allows certain data to be included on finance exports for the accounting team that is missing when using the first method.
